The 1901 Buffalo New York Pan-American Exposition in Color using Artificial Intelligence

Image
In case you missed it, I also colorized the 1893 Chicago World's Fair photos which you can view here . I been getting interested in all these World's Fair expositions held in the United States at the end of 1800's and beginning of the 1900's. It's pretty amazing they were able to build such beautiful cities and buildings in such a short amount of time. Enjoy these colorized images taken from the 1901 Buffalo New York Pan-American Exposition. Managed to get around to also colorizing and upscaling a boat ride through the canals.

The 1893 Chicago World's Fair in Color using Artificial Intelligence

When I first stumbled on the pictures of the 1893 Chicago World's Fair, I thought I was looking at an ancient European city. I had no clue that the US built such a beautiful place, to then later knock down. Since the photo's were in black and white, I decided to run them through an artificial intelligence application called DeOldify to give them some color so we have a better idea of what it looked like in Chicago in the year 1893!   My YouTube channel does this same technique on black and white film, check out my channel here:
